  • From a parent or guardian, when they book or give us information for a student.
  • Automatically, when you use our websites.

5. Children and young people#

Most of our students are under 18. Anyone can create an account with us. We expect a parent or guardian to make bookings and give us information for students under 18.

We only collect what we need to teach and look after students. If you think a child has given us information without a parent or guardian's permission, contact us and we'll delete it.

We do not knowingly target our advertising at children. The ad tracking tools in section 7 are not used on pages where parents enter their child's details.

6. Who we share information with#

  • Tutors. Tutors receive the name and contact details of the student and their parent or guardian. For home lessons they also receive the address and lesson details. They need this to teach. Our tutor agreements require tutors to keep this private and use it only for lessons.
  • Service providers. We use other companies to run our business. They include Stripe (payments), HubSpot (customer records, email and mailing lists), Google Workspace (email and documents), Squarespace, Vercel and Supabase (websites, hosting and our booking database), and Sentry and Cronitor (error and performance monitoring).
  • Analytics and advertising providers. Google, Meta, TikTok and Microsoft, as explained in section 7.
  • Social media platforms, where we post photos and videos (see section 9).
  • Advisers and insurers, when we need their help.
  • Others, if the law requires it or to protect someone's safety.

We don't sell personal information.
